AbstractPolitical attitudes, party ties as well as judgements on parties and politicians. Topics: Political interest and self-assessment of political extent to which informed; sources of information used about politics and judgement on their credibility; media usage; preference for political television broadcasts; satisfaction with democracy in the FRG; scale of importance of political problems; issue ability of the parties; sympathy for certain politicians; sympathy scale for the SPD, CDU, FDP and NPD; satisfaction with state government and sympathy gains or losses of the parties since the Federal Parliament election 1969; parties voted for since 1949 and behavior at the polls in the Federal Parliament election 1969 (first vote and second vote); party preference and party ties; party inclination of family and friends and political conversations with friends and acquaintances; certainty of personal election decision; interest in the election result and assumed significance of the state parliament election for the Federal Republic; preferred prime minister and federal chancellor; attitude to the election campaign, the Germany question and protest of young people; importance of areas of life; judgement on the economic situation of the FRG and one´s own economic situation in comparison over time; self-assessment of social class; membership in clubs and organizations and assessment of party inclination of organizations; interest and ties to trade unions; party preference and party ties of parents; judgement on political interest of parents in the time of Hitler; general contentment with life; religiousness and assessment of distribution of religious affiliation in the residential area; local residency and satisfaction with housing; type of housing; type of city. Scales: dogmatism, democracy, nationalism and sexual morals. Demography: age (classified); sex; religious denomination; school education; occupation; employment; household income; size of household; composition of household; head of household; social origins; refugee status. Interviewer rating: willingness of respondent to cooperate; general political extent to which informed of respondent; political interest of respondent; number of contact attempts; length of interview; weekday of interview.
