AbstractPolitical attitudes of the voters in Baden-Wuerttemberg on political questions at federal and state level. Topics: 1. General political views: judgement on the general economic situation and the economic future; desired economic policy measures to boost the economy; personal willingness to make sacrifices to overcome the recession; sacrifice of income; political knowledge and self-assessment of political extent to which informed; satisfaction with democracy; assumed reputation of the FRG abroad; judgement on equal opportunities in the FRG; attitude to the grand coalition and judgement on the FDP in opposition; party preference; party identification; sympathy scale for the SPD, CDU, FDP and the NPD as well as for various federal politicians; parties one cannot vote for; attitude to the NPD; preferred federal chancellor; behavior at the polls in the Federal Parliament election 1965 and reason for a possible change in party voted for; knowledge of the member of Parliament elected in the constituency; attitude to federalism; assignment of issue competence to federal government, state or municipality regarding various political questions. 2. State politics: difference between Baden-Wuerttemberg and the Federal Republic; satisfaction with the state government; evaluation of various measures of the state government and recommendations for further government measures; attitudes to the school laws, the community school and the religious denomination school; judgement on state political institutions and offices; attitude to inflation of offices and administration reform as well as to consolidating smaller municipalities; most well-known state politicians and their party affiliation; sympathy scale for Filbinger, Angstmann, Hahn and Krause; knowledge about the state parliament delegates elected in the constituency; personal election participation in earlier elections and voting intent in the coming election; points of view in voting decision; certainty of one´s voting decision; preferred coalition after the state parliament election; media usage and sources of political information. 3.
