AbstractAttitude to problems of international policy as well as judgement on various countries, their policies and politicians. The USA image of the Germans. Topics: Attitude to the results of the London Nine-Power Conference, participation of the FRG in the defense of Western Europe, unification of Europe and solving the Saar question; perceived possibilities of reunification of Germany and an increase in the sovereignty of the FRG; judgement on the readiness of the Soviet Union for negotiation, the Soviet disarmament proposals and the danger of war; east or west orientation of the FRG in case of a war; judgement on the efforts of the superpowers to secure peace; judgement on Adenauer, Mendes-France, Eden, Molotov, Dulles, as well as attitude to England, France, Italy, Russia and America; attitude to the admission of China into the UN; views about the influence of the USA in the FRG and about American efforts to contain communism in the Far East; attitude to peaceful use of atomic energy; party preference; membership in a trade union; city size. Demography: age (classified); sex; school education; occupation; income; state. Interviewer rating: social class of respondent.
