Notes
The election studies, conducted in August and September 1969, consist of two samples independent of each other, which were collected during the campaign for the Federal Parliament election 1969. The August study comprises the second wave of a panel study, which was begun in 1967 (ZA Study No. 0524). The September study is a completely independent cross-section study, whose questionnaire, however, is identical to that of the August study. For this reason a single data set was made from the two studies. To this extent one cannot speak of a Panel. The respondents of the two studies can be distinguished with a filter variable.
