AbstractJudgement on parties and politicians in view of the Federal Parliament election on 6. March 1983. Judgement on current policy issues. Topics: In the form of a trend survey at 5 different survey times the following questions were repeated in identical form: behavior at the polls in the last Federal Parliament election; voting intent; party preference (rank order procedure); vote choice at the previous election; sympathy scale for the SPD, CDU, CSU, FDP and the Greens as well as for Genscher, Kohl and Strauss; strength of party inclination; memberships. For additional topics, which were not asked at all survey times, see correspondence list. Demography: age; gender; marital status; religious denomination; attendance at religious services; education; profession; current employment status; main occupation; household size; household composition; R is head of household; characteristics of head of household; party affiliation; party identification; evaluation of neighborhood: social class; union membership Also encoded were: respondent number; month of survey; questionnaire form; federal state; city size; weighting variables.
