Housing and residential status: size of place (degree of urbanisation); residential location; duration of residence; satisfaction with the place of residence; duration of living in the apartment; distance before moving into the present apartment; move into the present apartment; move before 1988; at that time residential location; information on the last apartment: residential status; social housing; apartment size in qm; number of rooms; number of residents before the move; move of the entire household or number of people moved; reason for moving; residential status of the current apartment; social housing; owner of the apartment; only one family in the house or several households; monthly costs for heating and hot water, for waste disposal, levies for water, etc. (management costs); amount of interest charge; amount of maintenance costs; receipt of lump-sum subsidy and amount of burden subsidy; rent amount; rent including costs for heating and hot water; amount of lump sum for heating and hot water; average costs for heating and hot water and payment period; rent includes modernization levy; amount of the total modernisation levy or per qm; withdrawal of housing benefit; amount of monthly housing benefit; apartment size in qm; number of rooms; assessment of the size of the apartment; apartment furnishing; apartment furnishing meets the needs; year of construction of the apartment building; assessment of the structural condition of the house; satisfaction with the apartment. 2. Mobility: intention to move; move of the whole household or individual household members; reason for the intention to move; preference of moving (target area); assessment of the current and future personal economic situation; change in the personal economic situation since one year. 4. Employment: employment status; job security. 5. Voting decision and participation: eligibility to vote in the last federal election; participation in the last federal election and voting decision (second vote). Demography: sex: age (month of birth and year of birth); highest school leaving certificate or targeted school leaving certificate; age at school leaving certificate; vocational education and training certificate; current or former employment; full-time or part-time employment; current or last employment position; current or last employment activity; occupation; marital status; cohabitation with a partner; self-assessment of class affiliation; denomination or religion; close relationship with the church; frequency of church attendance; net income of the respondent; household size; number of children in the household and age of these children; number of persons in the household older than 18 years with German citizenship; number of persons in the household who contribute to the household income; number of persons employed in the household; net household income; telephone connection in the household; answering machine available or planned purchase; car in the household. Interviewer rating: residential type; residential area type. Additionally coded was: ID BBSR; split; respondents ID; serial no.; federal state; administrative district; local size (political community size); interview date; number of reasons for moving in and out; weight.
