AbstractAttitude to the EU and the role of the EU in the conflict in former Yugoslavia. Attitude to space research. Topics: General judgement on membership of one´s own country in the EU; advantageousness of membership; satisfaction with democracy; attitude to a common currency, a common defense policy, a common foreign policy, the right of EU citizens to vote in municipal elections, a European Central Bank and a European Government answering to the European Parliament; judgement on selected recommendations on solving the Yugoslavia conflict; knowledge about the planned government conference of the heads of state; judgement on a charter that would regulate the rights and duties of all EU citizen; attitude to the idea of a European citizen representative; probability of taking advantage of such a citizen repesentative oneself; judgement on space travel in the sense of economic, scientific, political, military and ecological progress for Europe; party preference (Sunday question).

  •  EB - Flash Eurobarometer
    The Flash Eurobarometer were launched by the European Commission in the late eighties, turning out a Monthly Monitor between in 1994 and 1995. These “small scale” surveys are conducted in all EU member states at times, occasionally reducing or enlarging the scope of countries as a function of specific topics. The typical sample size is 500-1000 respondents per country and interviews are usually conducted by phone in the respective national language. The Flash Eurobarometer include series on special topics (Common Currency, EU Enlargement, Information Society, Entrepreneurship, Innovation) as well as special target group polls, particularly company managers with enterprise related topics.
