Further Remarks

NotesThe current data set comprises all data of a three-wave panel survey (former archived as ZA Study Nos. 0635, 0636, and 0637) and is now available as a complete data set. The variables of the different waves have been arranged one below the other. For information on identical variables in the three waves, check the correspondence list. The questionnaire for the waves 1 and 2 is largely identical. In the third wave, there were a couple of additional questions to respondent’s voting decision and the results of the election. A split questionnaire was used in the first wave with the following characteristic: with one part of the respondents the question of voting intention was placed relatively early in the survey, in the other part not until the end of the survey, in order to control for the effect of a different placement of the question.
