AbstractJudgement on parties and politicians at federal and state level. Topics: political interest; intent to participate in the election or absentee ballot in the metropolitan council or Federal Parliament election; party preference in the metropolitan council and Federal Parliament election (Sunday question and rank order procedure); certainty of one´s voting decision and behavior at the polls in the last metropolitan council or Federal Parliament election; sympathy scale for the parties in Hamburg as well as the top candidates at state and federal level; assumed probability and attitude to taking seats in the metropolitan council by FDP or Greens; attitude to the women´s list of the Greens; preferred first mayor and government coalition; issue relevance and issue competence of the parties; judgement on the economic situation of Hamburg in comparison to the rest of the Federal Republic; judgement on the election campaign activities of party supporters; election winner in the metropolitan council election; attitude to nuclear power plants. Demography: sex; year of birth; month of birth; marital status; religious denomination; frequency of church attendance; school education; occupational position; employment; respondent is head of household; characteristics of head of household; party inclination; party identification; union membership; number of persons in household 18 years old and older; degree of relationship of respondent to head of household; characterization of residential surroundings according to occupational groups.
