AbstractPolitical attitude of voters in Lower Saxony and their judgement on parties and politicians. Topics: Besides the common part described in study 1244 the following further questions were posed: satisfaction with the achievement of the opposition; assumed coalition decision of the FDP; preferred government coalition; attitude to expansion of nuclear energy, a freeze on the influx of foreigners, the stationing of missiles in the FRG, the employment program of the Federal Government and the relevance of these issues for one´s own voting decision; preference for the term Lower Saxony or ´Welfenland´. Demography: age; sex; marital status; religious denomination; school education; occupational training; employment; household size; respondent is head of household; characteristics of head of household; union membership. Interviewer rating: district code.
