AbstractJudgement on parties and politicians. Political attitudes. Topics: confidence in the future; judgement on the economic situation in the Federal Republic and assessment of further development next year; expected development of one´s own financial situation in a year; most important political events in the last year; interest in politics; party inclination and party allegiance as well as reasons for identification with a party (scale); attitude to the economic policy of the Federal Government; attitude to a further cost-cutting policy of the Federal Government to promote an economic upturn; party preference (ballot procedure); personal change in party voted for; behavior at the polls in the Federal Parliament election 1983 and satisfaction with elected party; issue relevance; issue competence of the parties; attitude to the socially-oriented market economy and the achievement principle; assessment of the development of unemployment in the Federal Republic next year; judgement on the prospects for lasting peace in Europe; jeopardy to world peace through the great powers USA or Soviet Union; assessment of the willingness of the Soviet Union to agree with the west as well as attitude to NATO; attitude to the peace movement; preferred social system; satisfaction with democracy in the country; assessment of the federal parties on a left-right continuum; perceived possibilities to influence politics (scale); sympathy scale for the federal parties; attitude to the Greens taking seats in the Federal Parliament and in various state parliaments; attitude to a cooperation of the SPD with the Greens; reasons for election of Greens; attitude to violence against persons; self-assessment of condition of health; personal health behavior; routine medical tests and check-ups; most important environmental problems; expected development of danger to the environment in the Federal Republic in the next five years; personal willingness to purchase a low-pollution car or modify an old vehicle; acceptable cost for such a modification; modification dependent on tax advantages.
