AbstractJudgement on parties and politicians as well as political attitudes. Judgement on German unification. Topics: Confidence in the future; judgement on the general as well as one´s own current economic situation as well as the economic situation in a year in the Federal Republic and the GDR; assessment of the development of unemployment in the Federal Republic and the GDR; most important problems and ability of the parties to solve them; party inclination; judgement on the speed of unification and unification of the two German nations; ability of the Federal Government as well as the SPD in questions of unification; party preference (second vote, rank order procedure); certainty of one´s voting decision; judgement on the chances of the FDP, the Greens, the Republicans, the PDS in an all-German election; issue relevance; issue ability of the parties; assumed effects of unification on the stability of monetary value and the standard of living in East and West; judgement on the time of economic and currency union; estimated point in time of an economic improvement in the GDR; assessment of the capability of the FRG to build the economy in the GDR (FRG); readiness of the FRG to build up the GDR economy (posed in the GDR); behavior at the polls in the last Federal Parliament election; fear of unemployment; ties to church; solidarity with trade unions; union membership; visit to the FRG or GDR after opening of the wall.
