Topics: Willingness to participate in the coming state election and decision for an absentee ballot; party preference (list procedure); behavior at the polls in the last metropolitan council election; time of personal voting decision; personal change in party voted for; satisfaction with top candidate of one´s preferred party; sympathy scale for the leading state politicians as well as for the Bremen Senate and opposition parties; preference for mayor; coalition preference; importance of federal-level political topics for one´s own political decisions at state level; most important problems of the state influencing one´s own voting decision; expected harm or benefit for the CDU from the appearance of Franz-Josef Strauss; assessment of the necessity of the ´Bremen Green List´; expected election winner; religiousness; party inclination and party identification.

    The available studies on the German ferderal state elections go back as far as 1962. These studies were conducted for the most part as representative surveys in the run-up to elections of the Landtage, the Bremer Bürgerschaft or the Berliner Abgeordnetenhaus. German Federal State Election studies which were surveyed within the framework of the German Longitudinal Election Study (GLES) are not contained in this group.
