AbstractJudgement on current economic and political questions. Media usage. Topics: judgement on current price level and its development since currency reform; preference for an allotment of products according to a prescribed price or preference for unrestricted sale at higher prices; attitude to an organization of citizens of the world; interest in joining such an organization; willingness to give up German citizenship in favor of the movement of citizens of the world; knowledge about the strongest party in the state parliament; expectations of the job of the state parliament; attitude to civil service for life; concern about possible unemployment; support by the respondent for other persons; positive or negative image of mankind; interest in the new constitution; party affiliation of preferred candidate for president; preference for a strong position for the office of the president; attitude to formation of a West German federal nation; reading of magazines and picture magazines; listening to the radio; listening to the NWDR as well as foreign broadcasts; type and language of broadcasts listened to; following the German broadcast service of the BBC. Beer consumption; preference for light or dark as well as bitter or sweet as well as for light or strong types of beer; increase in individual beer consumption due to improved beer quality; preferred beverage; form of savings; memory of hits from the pre-war period. Refugee status; city size; zone; party preference. Interviewer rating: willingness of respondent to cooperate.
